Other fine blogs about Capella University

June 25th, 2008

There are several other fine blogs about Capella University and their unethical practices; these include: Capella University Sucks, Transparency by Design Exposed, and Capella University Lawsuits.

Also, there are several fine blogs that parody the marketing drivel produced by Capella’s PR Department, including: Crapella Blogs - Bogus blogs about Capella University; Air Force major aims low; Big city mayor has a brush in with online educationClosing Down on IT; Dreary of Endurance; Meryl’s Marathon; One Green Beret’s Journey, and Soldier Forgets Ph.D..

Enjoy!

Transitions. . .

August 7th, 2006

This month was the first that I’ve experienced male menopause - all because I was finally thrown out of the Army with a dishonerable discharge. That doesn’t matter thought because I have my lovely wife, Jerri, who has taken on five jobs just to help put me through the crappy program for my official MBA from Capella University. It’s a good thing that she did because Capella won’t pay me a cent for writing this blurb about them. Don’t you just love the way they take advantage of members of the military?!

I also love all of the support from Capella University’s PR machine - you know, the ones who post phony responses to this and other blogs to make them seem less like the blatant advertising nonsense that they really are! Isn’t is funny, too, how seemingly every member of the military, along with good ole Jerri, write so many comments. While I’m almost done with my useless MBA from Capella University, I think I work on a Ph.D. in educational psychology - maybe I can study the horrors of WebCT (oops, I shouldn’t have said that, the Capella Though Police might come after me!

Changes

June 30th, 2006

Gooooolly! I’ve just been so busy working on an MBA from Crapella University that I almost forgot to think about pursuing a PhD with them just so that I can keep this great blog! On top of that, like some of my fellow LEARNERS (oh, I love that word), I’ve decided to run in marathons too. I really don’t know what it is, but Crapella thinks that marathons must have something to do with increasing the numbers of LEARNERS to cough up more sales for their enrollment directors.

The Green Berets and my MBA

April 30th, 2006

I don’t have an MBA yet but I always refer to the degree as if I already hold it. Gosh, isn’t that what macho men like me do? At this time, I would like to introduce myself - I’m a five-star general who emigrated from Iraq during April 2006. My father is Saddam Hussein’s second cousin, thrice-removed, and I decided to come to the United States so that I could enlist in the Army. That way, I could return to Iraq and become eligible to serve as yet another poster child for Capella University - the more suicide bombings, and other explosions I could participate in, the better! It doesn’t matter that I don’t speak a word of English - after all, Crapella University Blogs can print anything they want to about me because I’m entitled to MY MBA! Aren’t you proud of me?  Be sure to visit often to find out how I’m doing. Oh, before I forget - Hi, Mom!
