Other fine blogs about Capella University

June 25th, 2008

There are several other fine blogs about Capella University and their unethical practices; these include: Capella University Sucks, Transparency by Design Exposed, and Capella University Lawsuits.

Also, there are several fine blogs that parody the marketing drivel produced by Capella’s PR Department, including: Crapella Blogs - Bogus blogs about Capella University; Air Force major aims low; Big city mayor has a brush in with online educationClosing Down on IT; Dreary of Endurance; Meryl’s Marathon; and One Green Beret’s Journey.

Enjoy!

Unexpected benefits of mental training

September 9th, 2006

Well, this is the first time in ages that I’ve decided to update this brazen advertisement for Capella University: every time I do so I think of Mom, apple pie, and the American Flag. I get chills just thinking about it!

I’ve recently been studying the impact that sitting on my rear while buying my degree from Capella University has upon the cohesiveness of my neural firings. Surprisingly, I found that there wasn’t any. Just the same, I like to sit in from of my computer from 0600 hours to 0800 hours doing just that. Aren’t you impressed by the way I using military time?! That might help Capella University to buy a few more students!

Based upon my meaningless studies, I think that the morons who run Capella University should take a few courses in ethics training. Come to think of it, maybe a lot of other civilians should too!

The agony and the ecstasy!

June 30th, 2006

Oh, I just love to run – just like all of the other great LEARNERS from Crapella University who participate in marathons. I’m beginning to think that all LEARNERS who can’t create their own blog must run in marathons for the privilege. Isn’t that great?

On another note, my great-great-grandmother just took up running as broke her leg just after crossing the finish line. Sadly, this put a damper on her football playing but her coach understands – after all, it’s not about the game that matters, it’s how much PR Crapella can leach off of her that counts. Gotta get running!

It’s all about ME!

June 25th, 2006

I love to talk about ME! Me, me, me, me, me! It’s great to know that Crapella University where Education is Stillborn created this blog so that I can talk about ME. Of course, I also fit their media-blitz profile: you know, member of the military, a husband who earned a purple heart, five children - all boys (of course) who are jocks, and all of us love to play football. Of course, my family thinks that getting a Ph.D. online is the ONLY way to go. Especially from Capella University because they sponsors organizations, like the National University Telecommunications Network (NUTN), that also grants awards to their biggest sponsor (i.e., Capella University). These, of course, also look GREAT as press releases.

It’s a good thing that self-praise is acceptable at this fully accredited online university. it makes me proud the think that they also leech off of the military. What would a five-star general, like me, do if it weren’t for online distance learning? Obviously, I love the idea that both the school and I love to toot our own horns! Isn’t it great!
